What is Detailed Contamination Investigation?
We carry out detailed contamination investigations to determine the type, concentrations, distribution and extent of contamination at the site. Using data from investigation boreholes, sampling, laboratory analyses and spatial modelling, we determine the boundaries of the contamination body and prepare a three-dimensional (3D) representation of it. As a result of the investigation, we obtain quantitative contamination parameters, including area (m²) and volume (m³), which are needed to plan subsequent remediation and evaluate its costs.
